About Indiana Tech
Indiana Tech prepares students for active participation, career advancement, and leadership in the global 21st century society, and motivates them toward lives of significance and worth.
Founded in 1930 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as an engineering college, today’s Indiana Tech educates students well beyond its modern 42-acre home campus with regional campuses throughout Indiana and Kentucky and online programs that meet the needs of students worldwide. Indiana Tech specializes in career-oriented degree programs in business, engineering, computer science, criminal justice, education and health care administration. Overall, Indiana Tech offers more than 60 degree options at the associate, bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. level.
Many of our instructors bring real-world industry experience to the classroom. As a result, students receive education that proves to be impactful when it’s time to enter the job market. Indiana Tech is also not-for-profit, which means our focus is on the success of our students, not shareholders.
The Early Start advantage
Indiana Tech’s Early Start program allows high school students to earn college credit while they are still in high school. In addition to getting a head start on their college careers, Early Start students can save a lot of money.
• Classes are just $25 per credit hour compared to $510 per credit hour for a traditional student enrolled at our campus. If you take the maximum number of Early Start courses, you can save approximately $17,000 over the course of your undergraduate degree.
• Early Start students receive a $500 Indiana Tech scholarship for every Early Start class they complete with a grade of C or higher (up to $1,500) when they enroll as a freshman at Indiana Tech.
• Students who are eligible to receive free or reduced lunches through their high school are eligible to get one Early Start class fee waived.
